Quantitative Approaches to Early Development is a workshop sponsored by Arizona State University, the ASU Center for Biological Physics and the National Science Foundation. The purpose of this invitaion-only workshop is to bring together a select group of some of the world's leading scientists in quantitative methodologies of developmental systems. The group we have identified includes scientists with backgrounds in cell and developmental biology, as well as physics, mathematics, and engineering. All have unique expertise in various aspects of quantitative visualization, experimentation, and computational modeling, with application to early development. Subject to permission by the speakers, presentations will be made available to the general public after the workshop, in both video and slide formats.
