Background My background is unusually broad, including significant depth in such disparate fields as mathematics, microbiology, and software engineering, in addition to biophysics. Current research includes developing and maintaining the Tool for Identifying Mobility in Macromolecular Ensembles (TIMME), a statistical system for analyzing collections of snapshot configurations of macromolecules. Other research projects include benchmarking Framework Rigidity Optimized Dynamics Algorithm (FRODA), and studying time constants for protein conformational transitions. |
